Google Nexus 6 gets a price cut in India

Google's flagship smartphone Nexus 6 has received a price cut in India, bringing its price down to Rs 34,999.

Launched at Rs 44,999, the 32GB variant of Nexus 6 can be purchased for Rs 34,999 on Flipkart. Similarly, the 64GB version, which was released at Rs 49,999, can now be purchased for Rs 39,999.

Additionally, Flipkart is running an additional exchange offer on the 32GB and 64GB variants of Google Nexus 6, offering to deduct up to Rs 5,000 from the price tag. This effctively brings down the prices to Rs 29,999 and Rs 34,999, respectively.

However, this price cut is limited only to Flipkart, which is the exclusive retail partner of Motorola in the country; Nexus 6 is manufactured by Motorola.

Google Store, the online retail store where Google products are sold, still lists the two versions of Nexus 6 smartphone at their respective launch prices.

This is, of course, not the first price cut for Google Nexus 6, whose price had dropped to Rs 36,999 for a limited time in May this year.

The Nexus 6 has a 6-inch display with QHD (1440x2560p) resolution, 2.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB RAM, Android 5.0 (Lollipop) operating system, 13MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, and 3,220mAh battery.
