The Bombay High Court on Monday posted to July 27 for directions actor Salman Khan's appeal as compilation from Marathi to English was not all complete.
The actor had appeal against his against conviction but his five volumes of documents contained papers in Marathi which required translation. The appeal is in the 2002 case where he was convicted for culpable homicide not amounting to murder for killing one person and injuring four after his Land Cruiser slammed into a Bandra cleaners.

The court had on June 15 posted the matter to July 1 after it was informed that the paper book of the case papers was not ready.
A sessions court had convicted the actor for culpable homicide not amounting to murder for the death of a person sleeping on the steps of a Bandra cleaners which the actor's land cruiser had crashed into in September 2002. The trial court sentence of five years' rigorous imprisonment, the HC had suspended last month soon after the May 6 sentencing. The HC had granted him bail too.
When the case came up for hearing before Justice AR Joshi on the last occasion last Monday, it was adjourned by a week. On Monday, the court was told that translations were complete for old documents but for some others, yet incomplete. The Translation department of the HC is doing the translation. Sandeep Shinde, chief public prosecutor did not object to the adjournment since the procedural law allows for all vernacular documents to be translated to English. Justice Joshi the adjourned the matter to next Monday when he would check if the paper book and pass further directions to fix a date for the actual hearing to begin in the appeal.
