Mahindra KUV100 mini SUV’s variants and features revealed; bookings open

Mahindra KUV100 compact SUV’s variant-wise features have been revealed prior to its launch on 15th January, 2016. Mahindra & Mahindra dealers across the country have started accepting bookings for the vehicle for a token amount of Rs 10,000. With Hyundai Grand i10 and Maruti Suzuki Swift in its sight, the Mahindra KUV100 sub-compact SUV is expected to be priced between Rs. 4 lakh – Rs 6.5 lakh. Though, at this price range, it might also impact the sales of the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R hatchback.

Besides above-mentioned features, the Mahindra KUV100 will also get driver and front passenger airbags as an optional features across all trim levels.
The KUV100 will debut with the company’s all-new mFalcon engine range – a 82bhp, 1.2-litre G80 mFalcon petrol and a 77bhp, 1.2-litre D75 mFalcon diesel – that are claimed to deliver high fuel efficiency. The mFlacon engine lineup has been developed under joint venture of Mahindra and Ssangyong. Initially, the vehicle will be offered with a 5-speed manual transmission only.
