Lenovo has launched a new smartphone today dubbed the ‘Vibe Shot’ in India priced Rs 25,499. Pre-orders for the device begin today via Lenovo’s TheDoStore starting from 6PM. Lenovo Vibe Shot was originally unveiled at MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2015 in Barcelona in March and after six months, will now be available in Indian stores.
The main USP for the phone is its camera. The Lenovo Vibe Shot includes a 16MP rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a tricolor flash. The sensor also features low-light back illumination, Optical Image Stabilization along with an infrared focus feature. The device also has an 8MP front facing camera. This camera also comes equipped with a wide angle mode, which can stick up to three photos together.
In terms of memory, the smartphone includes an internal storage at 32GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, LTE support, Wi-Fi, USB OTG, and Bluetooth 4.1 LE. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop wrapped under Vibe UI and the company says that the smartphone will be upgradable to Android Marshmallow. A non-removable 2,900mAh battery completes the package.
