Yureka Plus, the full HD screen version of the original Yu Yureka smartphone has been launched by Yu Televentures, which is run by Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma. The sale will start on July 24, and users will have to register on Amazon before hand. The Yu Yureka Plus is priced at Rs 9999. The big change to Yu Yureka Plus is the screen resolution: it is now a 5.5-inch screen with full HD resolution. The earlier Yu Yureka phone had a 5.5-inch HD screen resolution.
Other than the screen resolution, Yu Yureka Plus is essentially the same phone as the Yu Yureka. The smartphone has a Snapdragon 615 Octa-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16 GB storage space with a 13 mp rear camera and and 5 megapixel front camera. The battery is 2500 mAh battery. It has CyanogenMod OS 12 with Android 5.0 installed which comes with extra theming features, the ability to theme individual apps using the new feature called App Themer. The L update also introduces the new Cyanogen email, powered by Boxer. The premium version of Boxer is available for free to all Cyanogen OS users.
