The Tamil industry’s superstar Dhanush has been gifting gold upon the success of ‘Maari’. The actor is gifting gold chains to the core crew members that comprises of the movie’s director Balaji Mohan and co-star Vijay Yesudas.
A source close to the superstar told IANS, “Dhanush gifted gold chains to director Balaji Mohan, actors Vijay Yesudas, Robo Shankar and Vinoth, among a few others from the team.” (ALSO READ: Maari: Dhanush’s action comedy to be dubbed in Telugu and Hindi)
In 2014 when the movie ‘Vela Illa Pattathari’ went super duper hit, Dhanush thanked the team then by gifting gold chains. It is expensive but an unusual way of thanking the team that rarely anybody does. (ALSO READ: Maari movie review: Dhanush saves a very ordinary film)
The movie ‘Maari’ was released on July 17 and has minted over Rs.15 crore at Tamil Nadu box office. The opening weekend has surely being good for ‘Maari’. Dhanush is currently busy shooting with the ‘Vela Illa Pattathari’ team. The upcoming movie has not been titled yet. The actor has another project in his kitty with filmmaker Prabhu Solomon.
